Matina Jaimah is a passionate Bay Area portrait artist. She views art as a life source, which allows her to perceive and express realities in clearer and more intimate ways. She is particularly interested in human psychological experiences and celebrating individuality. For example, her painting Beautiful Boy, celebrates a young man’s colorful personality, and brings a cheerful vibe to the viewers.

Matina decided to pursue painting as a career in 2018. She has since been focused on learning as much as she can from a BFA Illustration program at California State University, East Bay. Matina has experience working as an art intern for the lovely Sun Gallery, located in Hayward. She has also assisted in art classrooms for the San Lorenzo Unified School District, and has exhibited her work at the CSU East Bay university art gallery.
