Street Festival Rained Out

Oakland Art MurmurSM Galleries & Other Events Remains Open*

Oakland, CA (October 31, 2017) - The Oakland First Fridays Street Festival on November 3rd, 2017 will be closed due to predicted rain. With the live art, paintings, music equipment and more, we cannot risk damaging the work of our artists and participants. Telegraph Avenue will be open to cars and persons who still wish to enjoy the KONO districts bars, clubs and art galleries. Expect to see the street and sidewalks clear of local makers, live art and music.
We will be back on December 1, 2017 as we come together for our “#LightsOn” Street Festival, where you can support local artists as you take care of your holiday shopping. You'll also get to boogie to the beats of the beloved Phat Luv Band and more! Be sure to follow us on Facebook for updates on future street festival activities!

*Other First Fridays Events Open Nov. 3rd: It may be raining on our parade, but the party is still going down indoors! For those looking to celebrate Day of The Dead, The Artists Loft is putting on the Dia de los muertos Exhibition and the Oakland Ballet is featuring Luna Mexicana, a performance filled with vibrant costumes and cultural dancing.
